Based out of Texas, Don Welch seamlessly blends elements of rap, blues, and classic rock with a touch of outlaw country to create his signature sound. Inspired by the loss of his close friend who had encouraged him to pen some rhymes, Welch leaves it all on the table when he writes and records his music. He promised his late friend he would never let up, and he is determined to honor that.

What many do not know is that Welch hadn't picked up a mic until later in life, in fact, he never considered music at all unless it was through his family. His mother was a blues fan while his sisters preferred Rap. Welch counts Stevie Ray Vaughn, Delta Bluesman Son House, Tupac, Pimp C, and Eminem are among his core musical influences. These disparate differences are the foundation of his music.

Welch is currently under a distribution deal with Dirt Rock Empire via Command Shift and in the process of releasing his sophomore album "Anomali".
